This patient started Phase I treatment at age 8.  She had baby teeth removed to unblock her upper right lateral incisor.  She was then treated for 12 months with upper braces.  Because of her severe crowding, she also had four permanent 1st bicuspids removed during Phase I in order to unblock her cuspids.  We removed her braces and used a retainer to help guide in her remaining teeth. 

When she was ready for Phase II treatment at age 13, she had mild lower rotations and small upper and lower spaces.  We treated her for 24 months with upper and lower braces.  When we were done, we polished the edge of her upper left central incisor in order to make it match the length and shape of the upper right central incisor.
