The patient came to our office at age 9. She was treated in Phase I with only an upper retainer. By removing selective baby teeth at the appropriate time and by using the retainer to guide in her permanent teeth, we were able to minimize her crowding.

At age 13, we were able to recommend non-extraction Phase II treatment with upper and lower braces. She had her braces removed at age 15 and was very happy to be completely finished before the end of her sophomore year.
